Opportunity Funding - orgmeta
This sheet defines opportunity-level funding constraints: room for funding, diminishing-returns parameters, year availability, and model coverage.

Recognised Variable Families
The parser currently recognises rows whose Variable value starts with:

Brackets And Row Order
Bracket numbers are assigned by row order within each variable family, not by the number shown in square brackets.
That means these two facts are both true:
- Labels like
[1],[2],[3]are helpful for humans. - The parser actually uses the order of the rows it sees after reshaping, so agents should not rely on the bracket number embedded in the label as the source of truth.
From a modelling perspective, earlier brackets usually represent the first dollars you can grant to an opportunity, while later brackets represent additional funding after the easiest or highest-value opportunities have already been filled.
Typical interpretation:

Defaults And Inference
The current parser fills missing information as follows:

It also:
- Removes opportunities whose entire funding column is empty.
- Restores the original opportunity order after parsing.
- Removes
Available in year Xrows whose year exceedsmeta$Years.
Validation Behaviour
The parser and later initialisation currently perform these checks:
- Year-availability values outside
[0, 1]are corrected to1.0with a warning. - Availability rows with invalid or non-positive years are treated as errors later in validation.
- If an opportunity has a different number of non-missing room-for-funding and bracket-decline rows, the parser records an error.
- If both
DiscountandUtility multiplierare specified for the same opportunity and bracket, the engine warns and applies both. - Later validation warns when bracket decline values decrease across brackets for an opportunity.
Notes For Agents
- Spaces and dots are removed from opportunity names for matching against
fos. - Opportunities present only in
orgmetaor only infosare dropped later during initialisation. Available in year Xuses year1as the present year.- The app preview summarises this sheet into
